Vintage Salvest Folding Travel Alarm Clock

This is a nice, working, mechanical Vintage Salvest Folding Travel Alarm Clock. Its hard surfaces are covered on the top and base with brown cloth. It dates to 1964 and was made by Salvest in West Germany.

Approximate Size when folded:
Case Width, Height, Depth (WHD): 7.5cm x 7.5cm x 3.5cm 

The clock has brass effect surrounds with brass accents and hands. Both the clock and alarm are in fairly good working order.

• It is easily read from a distance and in the dark, as its hands are luminous.
• The brown/gold cloth interior is intact but is stained with rust spots.
• The case does close but it is not a tight fit unless pressed together firmly holding in the catch.
• The hard leather covered casing is in good vintage condition with some scuffs and surface blemishes commensurate with age and use.
• The brass is slightly discoloured/pitted with surface blemishes.

I have timed the clock over a 24-hour period and it kept reasonable time (-30 seconds).

All in all, a useable little travel alarm clock.
